Fungal nail treatment, verruca and wart treatment

Are you worried by unsightly nails, painful verruca and warts? Get fast, safe and effective treatment:

  • Non invasive
  • No chemicals or creams
  • Stimulates new nail growth

At last, an effective treatment for fungal nail, without the possible side effects of oral medications on the liver.

Quicker and more effective than creams. Just six sessions.

How does the treatment work?

After a consultation with our podiatrist, who will file down the thickened nail, the nail and surrounding area are treated with our safe deeply penetrating laser heating up the offending fungus which lies in the nail bed and surrounding tissue.

Heating with the laser kills the fungus.

Six sessions are recommended at weekly intervals with at least two chiropody sessions to file down the nail – dependent on the severity of the condition.

A very rigorous hygiene regime is essential – washing and thoroughly drying feet.

It may be necessary to dispose of old footwear as this harbours the fungus.

Please bring clean socks to each treatment session to prevent re-infection from spores in the material of the ones you have been wearing.

What do I expect after treatment with laser?

The treated nail may die and fall off or flake.

After about three months, you will notice regrowth of a healthy nail bed.

After about 12 months, the nail will be fully restored.

Verruca and warts are treated using the same laser as for fungal nail, this time it is the virus causing the problem that is targeted and destroyed.

Dear Patient

Inline with the most recent guidelines issued by the Government, we are busy planning the reopening of our clinic.

Our first priority is the wellbeing of our patients and colleagues and this continues to be the case. As a result, we will only be reopening once we are satisfied that we have all of the necessary processes in place to ensure your safety.

We currently expect to open the clinic on Monday 6th July  with limited treatments and further safety measures in place.

When you attend our clinic there will be strict social distancing measures, enhanced protection for patients and colleagues, and temperature checks for everyone. Please follow any instructions from our team carefully.

We shall be contacting and rebooking all of those patients that had appointments prior to the Covid pandemic.

Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you soon.
