Specialist physiotherapy

Physiotherapy can be extremely valuable in the management of continence in all age groups. Treatments vary from pelvic floor muscle exercises, electro-stimulation, advice on fluid intake, bladder re-education and general lifestyle advice related to continence problems. Treatment can also assist with advice and exercises for women considering surgical intervention, for example prolapse, but who may wish to try the conservative route, in the first instance.

Pelvic floor exercises and advice can also assist in the treatments of erectile dysfunction following prostate surgery.

Physiotherapy works for stress incontinence. Click here for more information.

Dear Patient

Inline with the most recent guidelines issued by the Government, we are busy planning the reopening of our clinic.

Our first priority is the wellbeing of our patients and colleagues and this continues to be the case. As a result, we will only be reopening once we are satisfied that we have all of the necessary processes in place to ensure your safety.

We currently expect to open the clinic on Monday 6th July  with limited treatments and further safety measures in place.

When you attend our clinic there will be strict social distancing measures, enhanced protection for patients and colleagues, and temperature checks for everyone. Please follow any instructions from our team carefully.

We shall be contacting and rebooking all of those patients that had appointments prior to the Covid pandemic.

Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you soon.
