Jane Eastwood is a qualified, accredited and experienced therapist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, treating clients who are experiencing a wide range of mental health issues.
On a one-to-one basis she helps them to overcome a range of anxiety and depression disorders including travel anxiety and pain management.
Jane qualified with a BSc Hons in Applied Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University in 2002. Following on from this she completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Mental Health Care at Manchester University whilst working in NHS Mental Health Services for The Five Boroughs Partnership.
More recently, Jane has qualified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy which is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma.
Jane is also an experienced medical case manager and is a Certified Disability Management Consultant through NIDMAR. The NIDMAR education program covers the key skills and competencies essential for those working in the field of Disability Management and Return to Work Coordination. Jane is interested in providing corporate training to employers on return to work programmes for employees absent with mental health conditions.
