Meet our resident Podiatrist Lisa Searle who has over 25 years of clinical experience, working in both the NHS and the private sector.
After graduating in Podiatric medicine from the University College Salford in 1993 she worked at Leeds NHS Trust for 5 years. Here she gained experience in working with the elderly and children, developing a passion for diabetes and managing patients with complex medical problems. After she married, she moved to the North West and secured a position working for Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust. Lisa became a specialist podiatrist for people living with diabetes and other medical conditions that can place the foot at risk of complications. In 2001, Lisa initiated and set a up a successful multidisciplinary foot clinic within the hospital and held the post of specialist podiatrist for 17 years before deciding to embark on a new career in the private sector.
Lisa joined the team here at The Brookdale Clinic in 2013 and remains hugely passionate about the treatment and management of all her clients. Providing an annual foot assessment for clients living with diabetes, she ensures her standards of care are compliant with the NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) diabetes guidelines.
With Lisa’s clinical experience she can offer advice, treatment and management for conditions ranging from simple routine foot care to more complex foot problems. Find out more here.
In her spare time Lisa enjoys keeping fit and is also the safeguarding officer for her daughters’ local gymnastics club.
